The City of Moscow already had a strong brand, I was brought in to expand on the existing visuals to create a variety of elements that could be used across various platforms and events. Such as patterns, expanded color palette, social media assets, and merchandise.

The visuals are inspired by bauhaus designs. The color system relates to the season each month. Assets were designed to post across multiple platforms, websites, and emails.

Brand expansion
City of Moscow Artwalk brand assets before expansion.
The brand identity had some strong key elements in it to start, but there was a disconnect in color composition, typography, and the overall layout of assets. I enhanced the brand by adding in 2 colors that brought better cohesion, and expanded on the iconography. Instead of each year having the bouncing ball, there is now a new icon for each year while still maintaining the brand identity build from the beginning. Just... enhanced.
